If you are thinking about buying for the first time in AliExpress, but you still have doubts about where your order is going to arrive or who is going to deliver it, in this post we are going to explain it to you.
In the second part of the tutorial we will also talk about where you can pick up your order when you get the message “Pending pick up”.
Where will I receive my AliExpress package?
More than once you have asked us if AliExpress orders arrive at home or at your country’s courier service. As far as we know, in all countries of the world AliExpress orders arrive at your home without any problems, unless you order it to a collection point.
Specifically, your order will arrive at the address you have configured as “Shipping Address” in your AliExpress account, which you can check by clicking here.
Please note that if the courier does not find anyone at that address during the two delivery attempts, you will have to go to pick it up at the courier office you have chosen for your shipment. But we will explain this a little further down.
Now we are going to show you how you can configure your shipping address from the website and from the application.

From the AliExpress app
Once you are logged in, go to “My Account” (bottom right) and scroll down to the bottom. There you will see “Shipping Address”, if you click on it you will see the option to “Add new address” and you will only have to fill in all the boxes.
It is important that you also add your cell phone number, in case the courier company needs to contact you at some point.
How to save multiple addresses in the app
You can also save several addresses (for example your home and work addresses) but remember that there can only be one by default.
If you have saved several addresses, the first one that appears is the one you have saved as default, which means that if you make a purchase and do not touch the “Address” field, the order will be sent there.
To change the default address to another address you have saved, click on “set as default”. 
If you have any doubts, check the delivery address you have saved by default before paying for an order. It is advisable to delete the addresses that you will no longer use, so you avoid confusion.
From the AliExpress website
Access directly by clicking here. Otherwise, the mechanics is the same: once you are logged in, go to “My Account” (top right) and click on “My Orders”. Under “My Orders” you will see a list on your left with several options.
- Choose “My Shipping Address”.
- Select “add shipping address”.
- Fill in all the boxes.
How to save several addresses on the web
If you have saved an address and want to change it to another one, go to “Modify” (in the box of the address you want to change to) and check the “Save as default” box.
I was not at home, where can I pick up the package?
Another question you often ask us is “where should I go to pick up my package if they could not deliver it to my shipping address?
First of all, you have to know that if you have chosen an economic shipment (for example AliExpress Standard Shipping, China Post, Cainiao) or ordinary (without tracking number), the most normal thing is that the state postal company will contact you if they have not been able to deliver the package.
In ordinary shipments, the letter carrier will leave the package directly in the mailbox (if it fits), if not, he will also leave a notice for you to pick it up at your nearest office.
As we told you in the article on AliExpress shipping, in every country, your local courier handles most of the shipments that arrive from AliExpress, unless you have chosen a special shipping method by private courier (such as FedEx, EMS, UPS, DHL …) and you can differentiate them in that they are more expensive but arrive faster.
We do not recommend you to choose this type of shipments because they are almost always stopped at customs and therefore you are more likely to pay taxes.

How do I know which office to pick up my order from?
The notice left by the letter carrier will specify the office where you should pick it up, which is always the office closest to the shipping address.
If you have no notice and do not know where you have to go, the best thing to do is to call directly to the customer service of the courier company in charge. With the tracking number of the order they will tell you where to go without any problem.
